Western Biology utilizes best-available scientific protocols and non-invasive field methodologies to achieve successful project outcomes. We also deploy remote-sensing technologies if necessary, including camera traps and Autonomous Recording Units, to further improve survey defensibility. We have surveyed for numerous plant and wildlife species from the Great Plains to the Colorado Plateau to the Mojave Desert and hold active U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service permits to survey for western Yellow-billed Cuckoos, Mexican Spotted owls, Black-footed ferrets, Southwestern Willow Flycatchers, and Uinta Basin rare plants including Ute ladies’- tresses.
