The Experience: Navigate exciting Class I-II-III whitewater while engaging in conversations with cuckoo experts and fellow ornithologists. With a bit of luck and a sharp eye, you may even catch a glimpse of the elusive “Rain Crow” in its natural riparian stronghold. Come see for yourself why this incredible valley remains one of the last western refuges for this iconic species.

Trip Essentials

• The Route: 10 miles of scenic river access.

• Duration: 3.5 hours (includes shuttle, safety instruction, and guided tour).

• Difficulty: Beginner/Intermediate (Class I-III rapids).

• Ages: 18+ only.
